Return & Refund Policy
Change of Mind / Consumer’s Right to Return
At Australian Plumbing Products, we accept returns for change-of-mind under the following conditions:
- The return request must be made within 7 calendar days of receipt.
- The item must be in its original, unused, uninstalled condition, with all packaging, parts, and accessories intact.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Upon receiving and inspecting the return (verifying condition), we will issue a refund (excluding original shipping charges) within 7 business days using the original payment method.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, you must notify us within 14 calendar days of receipt, including photographic evidence. We will evaluate and, at our discretion:
- Provide a replacement (same item or equivalent)
- Offer repair (if feasible)
- Issue a refund (including shipping cost)
We will arrange return shipping or instruct you how to return the item, at our cost.
Warranty Claims
Australian Plumbing Products are backed by a 15-year Burst-Proof Warranty (for qualifying components).
Warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use conditions; it does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, modifications, or external events.
To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase and photos of the defect, and return the item if requested.
If the warranty claim is approved, we will repair or replace the item, or issue a refund, at our option.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed within 7 business days of approved return receipt.
A confirmation email will be sent when refund is completed.
The timing for the credit to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Exclusions & Non-Returnable Items
Custom-made or specially ordered items not held in stock may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns unless defective.
Products that have been installed, used, or altered in a way that compromises resale condition cannot be accepted for return.
How to Initiate a Return / Warranty Claim
Contact our Customer Support at info@appaust.com.au with your order number, reason for return, photos (if relevant), and any associated documentation.
We will provide you with return instructions and, if approved, a Return Authorisation Number (RMA).
Ship the item (securely packaged) to the address we provide (insured/tracked shipping is strongly recommended).
